CALM BEFORE THE STORM?
Good morning! Welcome to new postal rates and regulations! Last week showed steady performance, although not as solid as the week before. It still beat YTD levels in all categories except First-Class flats.
Of course, this is the week when new entry rules take effect, the big one being the end of the DNDC discount. Some mail will need to travel further (Origin Entry) because there was no incentive to drive it to NDCs. Some mail may travel faster because there is more incentive to truck to SCFs (small pallets.)
