BACK TO SCHOOL BLUES AT USPS?
Just as we were all slapping high fives and hugging our carriers last week, the Postal Service throws us a pretty bad week, just to keep us humble, I think. We have seen this pattern before – service is great during the summer, and trends downward as fall moves in. Days in transit were worse than the YTD average in every reported category.
Like a broken record we will say: “As always, we encourage that you don’t put too much weight on a single week’s performance.” It’s the trends we are looking for.
