OUCH! WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER?
Well, that hardly seems fair – the Postal Service comes off one of their best weeks in a long time and gets slammed with a historic winter storm. Delivery times were much worse in all categories (except, weirdly, Marketing Mail flats.) Regionally, it’s easy to see that the west was spared the storm. We won’t count this one against you, USPS, although it does go on your permanent record.
Weather is moderating, it’s inching above freezing, and a much smaller area was hit by the latest Bomb Cyclone. We should expect a return to better service.
